Panel Discussion: Collecting Mexican Popular Art

Join Nancy Fullerton (Assistant Curator of Latin American Art, San Antonio Museum of Art), Kevin Keim (Director, Charles Moore Foundation), Maria Salinas (co-founder of Ballet Folklorico Aztlan de Tejas), Emmily Arenas (local artist from Puebla), Ed Jordan (Austin area collector), and Robert Hollingsworth (Austin area collector) for a panel discussion about collecting Mexican popular art. The panel will be moderated by Toni Nelson Herrera, Mexic-Arte Museum Education Director.

Exclusive tour of popular art collections at the home of Ed Jordan, the Charles Moore Foundation, and Fonda San Miguel Restaurant. Space is limited.

The tour will be followed by a social happy hour with complimentary appetizers at Fonda San Miguel, featuring classic regional Mexican cuisine prepared with authentic recipes and numerous ingredients from the on-site organic garden.
